Franz Hümpfner has been taking photographs for 60 years with the aim of creating art. This illustrated artist book ZEN365 Part1 shows the first part of the project ZEN365. Creating a photo in the spirit of Zen every day for a year is a challenge for the artist, but also an exercise for the Zen Buddhist experience of the world. This is the first of four parts to the 365 pictures of a year.

30 cm x 40 cm, 13 Seiten, Druck auf auf Fujicolor DP II matte 50 Stück, signiert, nummeriert auf dem Deckblatt.

Als Grundlage für diese Arbeiten wurden gepresste und konservierte Pflanzen aus einem von meinem Großvater im Jahre 1880 geschaffenen HERBARIUM verwendet.
As a basis for these works were used pressed and preserved plants from a HERBARIUM created by my grandfather in 1880.

Portfolio Zen365 No.1 consists of 13 archival C-Prints on Fujicolor DPII matte Paper, archive secure for 75-100 years. Paper Size: 30,5 x 40 cm (12x16 inch). EDITION of 50 plus 4 APs with the artist´s signature only on the front page of the publication. The 13 loose sheets will not be rated as original works of art but as reproductions. The prints are stored in a in an attractive folder
The individual sheets can be presented with a wooden magnetic poster hanger. The posterhanger is not included. A numbered hologram is attached to the certificate of authenticity and the cover page.
